1. Read Chapter 14 in Touching Spirit Bear.
2. Make sure you check the power points of your "expert group members" and come up with 2 challenging questions to ask about each topic; cultural diversity, capital punishment, genetic engineering and genocide/ethnic cleansing.
Copy the questions in your Grammar and Mechanics Notebook. Make sure you can also define each term.
3. "What Memorial Day Means To Me" is due, typed, on Wednesday, May 21st. It should be 1 1/2 to 2 pages typed, double spaced, and a 12 font.
4. We will work on the assessment for half of the period tomorrow and spend the remainder of the period discussing the book.
