Complete Word Derivations: Latin 205 and Word Derivations: 206.

Make sure you also continue to work on new and improved questions to ask at the trial. You all did a good job of role-playing today. We will practice on Friday.

Make sure you have some idea what you will wear for the actual trial on Monday, November 4th.

Homework tomorrow night will be more "word derivations" to help you understand how many of our vocabulary words originated!

Seven Questions Tonight For The Pact Members To Find Them Guilty.

Tonight make sure to write questions for each member of the pact to help the prosecuting attorneys to find them guilty. Even if you are a defense attorney, you are still coming up with questions to find the pact members guilty. You might have four questions to ask each member of the pact and then different questions appropriate for specific pact members.

Trial is scheduled for Monday, November 4th.

Today We Began Our Long Compositions About A Courageous Character Or Person We Know.

Tonight for homework, we are writing our introductory paragraph on our TORSO. We wrote a strong oprning or topic sentence in class and worked on introducing the three reasons our person has displayed courage.

After finishing our first paragraph, we then copy the paragraph into our Grammar and Mechanics Notebook. Next, we write our next paragraph in our Grammr and Mechanics Notebook.

REMEMBER:   INTRODUCE THE THREE QUALITIES OR REASONS IN THE FIRST PARAGRAPH.

USE THE TRANSITION WORDS, FIRST OF ALL, WHEN WRITING YOUR FIRST PARAGRAPH. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WRITING ABOUT THE LEAST IMPORTANT REASON.

YOU SHOULD HAVE BOTH PARAGRAPHS IN YOUR GRAMMAR AND MECHANICS NOTEBOOK.
