Thank you all for a wonderful year. The culmination of the year was celebrated at the Talent Show yesterday. It was a great way to end the year and have fun at the same time. We had so much talent on the team. Have a great summer and read Number The Stars by Lois Lowry, the same author as The Giver. I truly will miss each and every one of you. Thanks for a memorable year. The eighth grade teachers are fortunate to get you in the fall.

Talent Show Tomorrow During AE
Some young ladies on Team 7-2 have recruited some local competitors to demonstrate their talent and perhaps win a prize! We will tentatively report to our Thursday AE class tomorrow, June 18th before reporting to this showcase of talent. Let's make sure we are on our best behavior.

Great Day to Visit George's Island
The rain held out and the tours were among the best we have ever experienced. The ghost stories made this trip a field trip to remember.Pictures coming soon!!!!!

Great Job, Team 7-2
Congratulations on a job well done at the elementary school yesterday. The teachers and students seemed to appreciate the wonderful stories and the wonderful lessons you taught. It was so good to see you all so enthusiastic about your work and teaching others. I am very proud of you.

Quarter Notes For Chapters 23-28 Due Wednesday, June 10,2009
Today we discussed the ending of the book. We also reviewed the Grammar Handbook and Literary Terms Handbook at the end of the Literature Book. Are you ready for a grammar final?
Any last minute tweaking of lessons, stories, and illustrations should be completed at home tonight!

Finish Strong
We have practiced a "dry run" for the elementary school visit. Next Wednesday, we will be traveling to the Tyngsborough Elementary School to teach the children Math, Science, ELA and Social Studies curriculum through stories and lessons developed during ELA. Our folders should be all ready. We will make copies of activities for the students next week.
Please use some of the games available in Mrs. Jaggers' room.

Tomorrow Everything Is Due
We worked on the stories, illustrations, lessons and covers this week. They should be done and assembled with your rubric tomorrow. Everything is due!!!

We have read the first seventeen chapters of "Touching Spirit Bear" but we have quarter notes for chapters 18-22 due on Thursday, June 4th. Be sure to include five main ideas, ten details and five questions and five vocabulary words. Find out who visits Cole when he returns to the island and why??????
