Tonight Work on Google docs and Figurative Language

Period 5 has a character "Description Sheet" to work on tonight. They should also be adding onto their captions for the Penny Book.
Period 3 also has to work on Penny Book captions.
Period 2 has to work on captions for Penny Book.

All classes need to complete captions for their first 5 years for Monday, April 11th. We will focus on just the writing portion and attach pictures and pennies later on. It is important to be collecting pennies and pictures now instead of waiting until the last minute. We will decide on a due date this week.

Vocabulary Test on the Section 1 words is scheduled for Monday, also.

He cannot share his experiences with Asher, Lily, or his Father. He tried to transmit a memory to each of the three. Quarter Notes on this chapter due tomorrow.

We continue to work on the Penny Books. They are coming along and tell 100 very interesting stories!

Draw any scene from the book thus far. Put your name on the back and do not discuss your choice with anyone else on the team. We want a variety! Perhaps we could sequence them, also.

Boy, Did Stacey Come Up With a Great Plan!

I hope you enjoyed Chapter 3. It is amazing what can be accomplished when you put your mind to something. Just like Cassie and Little Man do not appreciate being handed "throwaway "books, Stacey is sick and tired of seeing his brothers and sister treated so cruelly by white people. Imagine what this type of treatment does to the minds of black children (or adults for that matter). I hope you appreciate the "stick-to-it-tive-ness" of the Logan chilren. Know what I mean???

Any more grandparents or greatparents interested in coming in or being interviewed? Let's shoot for the first Friday of April? Does this date work for anyone who can come in? Let's set a dated tomorrow.
