HOMEWORK BELOW!

1. Collect words from magazines or newspapers or type words, phrases, quotations that describe your character. You should have no less that 3-6 words, phrases, or sentences. This is what we talked about in class.

2. Cut out pictures or use the internet for images which describe your character or portray what you think he/she looked like. For example, if you had Christopher John, you might find pictures of cornbread, a chubby, African American 8 year old boy, who might have lived in 1933. He might be wearing overalls, carrying a lunch pail, walking on a dirt road. You might type up words like "LOVES TO EAT"  "EASYGOING" " 8 YEARS OLD" or anything from the book which you think might help us to identify him.

3. Find 3-5 songs that play lyrics which also describe your character. You only have to play about 30 seconds or so of each song.

4. Decide which open response you would like to type. We'll talk about them on Monday but we will not work on the play list or collage which is due on Tuesday, March 3rd.

5. Final is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, March 5th. and open response is due on the same day.

6. We will correct all your homework next week. Bring it to class on Monday.

IF THERE ARE ANY NECESSARY CHANGES TO THE SCHEDULE, I'LL LET YOU KNOW ASAP!
